Visit Human Bean on Oct. 21 to donate to breast cancer support

If you’re a coffee fanatic, get out your calendar now! On Oct. 21, our Human Bean locations in the Eugene and Springfield areas are participating in the Coffee for Cure campaign. On this day 100% of sales (yes, we said 100%!) from our Human Bean locations in Eugene and Springfield will be donated to the American Cancer Society’s Real Men Wear Pink campaign that helps to support breast cancer discovery and research and save lives through early detection and prevention. In 2021, Real Men Wear Pink raised almost $12 million, ran 140 campaigns across the country, and had more than 2,500 ambassadors.

Founded in Jackson, Tenn. in 2013, Real Men Wear Pink is a campaign that has partnered with the American Cancer Society to use the power to pink to raise funds and draw attention to the breast cancer fight. Already, Real Men Wear Pink has helped the American Cancer Society to fund lifesaving breast cancer research, patient care programs, and education and prevention initiatives.

The Real Men Wear Pink of Central Oregon has so far raised $12,000 of their $30,000 goal and the Real Men Wear Pink of Portland has raised $15,000 of their $30,000 goal. Both of these campaigns are also sponsored by the Human Bean!

This campaign is particularly special to us at JCK because the entire Human Bean brand gets behind it. We own several Human Beans in the Eugene and Springfield area that will be participating in this Coffee for a Cure campaign, but our Human Beans are not the only participants! You can visit any Human Bean on Oct. 21 and your proceeds will go to Real Men Wear Pink to help fight against breast cancer and save lives.

Don’t want to wait? You can also donate to Real Men Wear Pink today.
